Panty Raids by Hampden-Sydney Guys 1961

My mother was Longwood class of the early 1920’s . Back then there was a lovely Mayday celebration at the amphitheater at Longwood Estate. Goodness has that ever been done again in modern times. I hate when tradition is lost!!
Also, how come nobody mentioned Panty raids on girls dorms by naughty Hampden-Sydney boys back in the 60’s. Well I guess after that girls pants just weren’t that hard to get into…excuse my risque’ comment, but true!! Anyway, such foolishness was great fun and quite to be talked about way back then.
